Legal requirements:
Below is the documentation required for a civil wedding in
Mauritius. Copies of these documents will have to be sent
to us in Mauritius at least 4 weeks prior to your arrival
in Mauritius. The documents are as follows:
3 Copies of the
first 3 pages of your passports
3 Copies of your
birth certificates in English or French language. International
birth certificates are normally perfect for this.
The dates when
you will arrive on Mauritius and the dates when you would
like to get married.
3 copies of your
divorce papers in English or French if one or both of
you has been divorced.
Death certificate
of deceased spouse for widow/widower.
If couple has changed
their name by deed pole: Proof is required
