The public beach, very popular among tourists and Mauritian families alike, offers nautical sports and activities including skiing, windsurf, parasailing, towed inflatable buoys, deep sea fishing or dolphin watch trips. The great variety of fish and corals, its spectacular seabed topography with caves, peaks, canyons, and arches make it a diving paradise. There are banks, boutiques, restaurants, nightclubs, pubs and casinos, opening until dawn nearby.
